Las Vegas is one of those cities you have to experience in your lifetime. It’s unlike anywhere else in the Unites States, and I’m even going to say it’s unlike any place in the world. It’s a non-stop party. Everything is over the top, beyond elaborate. Most people only visit Vegas for a few days at a time so here’s a few tricks to help you take advantage of your precious time in “Sin City”.
- Don’t sleep in and stay out late! Vegas is up and running until at least 4am and nothing really happens until 11 or even noon the next morning.
- Meet NEW people. There’s visitors from all around the world in Vegas
- See the famous sites – Bellagio fountain, Mirage volcano, Eiffel Tower, Stratosphere Tower
- Visit a dive bar – my favorite is O’Sheas (the new renovation makes it hard to call it a dive bar)
- Extra tip: Play beer pong here! Double bonus – they have pretty cheap beer for Vegas!
- Check out “old” Vegas and experience the Fremont Street show
- One word…DANCE. Doesn’t matter where, at the club (but it’s costly), any bar or heck even a casino
- Try your luck at the tables. Worst case scenario you’ll lose some cash but get a few free drinks
- Extra tip: the tables are less busy after 2am, try your luck (again!) after 2am
- Check out the street performers. It’s free to look, but if you want to take photo with them be prepared to get your wallet out
- Walk the Strip, both during the day and at night. Totally different experiences!
- Relax or keep the party rolling at the hotel pools
- Eat your heart out at one or two of their amazing buffets
- Get discounted tickets to a show by going to the street vendors the afternoon prior to the performance
